Himalaya's Sensitive Toothpaste is a polyherbal formulation that gives you rapid and lasting relief from tooth sensitivity. It contains Spinach, which is known to block exposed dentinal tubules that are sources for teeth sensitivity. Almond Shell extract is an excellent astringent, and Menthol helps maintain fresh breath.
Ingredients
Almond- Almond, known to have astringent properties help tighten gums. Almond Shell is reported to be rich in flavonoids and phenolics.
Menthol-Menthol from mint oils has cooling properties that help give fresh breath.
Miswak-Miswak reported to inhibit the build-up of dental plaque and is therefore beneficial in the prevention of tooth decay. It is known to reduce gum inflammation, prevents gum bleeding, and astringent property strengthens gums.
Spinach-Spinach is reported to contain natural oxalate compounds, which helps in forming phytocomplexes on teeth. This occludes dentinal tubules and blocks the transmission of pain from the surface to the tooth's nerves. Naturally derived Potassium nitrate or Suryakshara inhibits pain in hypersensitive teeth through its desensitizing effect on dentinal nerves.
How to use:
Squeeze a small amount of Sensitive Toothpaste on a toothbrush and brush teeth. Brush twice daily for optimal results.
