Uses
It is used in the treatment of neuritis, arthritis, neuralgia, paralysis, facial palsy, spondylosis, gout.
Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
Bursitis,
Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Pitta.
Dosage
250 – 500 mg once or twice a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor. It is traditionally administered along with decoction of Castor root and Ginger
It is also advised to do massage with castor oil, while using this medicine.
How long to use: It can be used upto 1 – 2 months based on doctor’s prescription.
